Another year is over. What a year it’s been! Although they might not be surprising for some, here are the top Porn searches of 2018, according to Pornhub Insights. You all have some specific tastes!
- At number one we have Stormy Daniels. This one is no surprise. After her alleged affair with Donald Trump (pre-presidency of course) interest skyrocketed after every news article and story surfaced. Stormy Daniels is, of course, an amazing porn star actress, director and entrepreneur anyway, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see her near the top even without a scandal.
- Number two is Fortnite. Love it or hate it, this game has dominated over the past year or two in popularity. According to Pornhub insights, every time a new character was released, the search would increase in frequency. In April, Fortnite servers crashed, leading to an increase of the search by 60% in just 24 hours! 2017’s most popular gaming search Overwatch dropped 7 spots to make way for Fortnite.
- In 2017, 1080p or Full HD searches were extremely popular. In 2018, 3rd on the list was 4K, and has seen a significant rise in popularity. It won’t be long before people will start to search 8K, we reckon.
- Although more popular with female viewers than male viewers, searches for Romantic porn has more than doubled this year.
- Trans porn saw a whopping 167% increase in searches by male viewers and more than a 200% increase with viewers over the age of 45. It is now the 5th most searched term for viewers aged between 45 and 64!
- Throughout 2018 saw an increase in searches for Outdoor porn, including the upload of porn tagged as being Outdoor has tripled. Talk about a breath of fresh air!
- From 2017, Pornhub’s “Tattooed Women” category has grown in popularity by 88% with Tattoos being 7th on the list of the most popular porn searches.
- Tinder was 8th on the list of searches, with Tinder-themed porn fantasy videos now climbing over 3500. From 2017, searches for Tinder themed porn rose by 161% among women and 113% among men. Tinder porn was especially popular in countries such as the UK and Australia.
- Although only viral for a few weeks, Bowsette quickly found its way into to the top 10 most searched-for porn in 2018, resulting in a full Bowsette themed porn parody with almost a million views. In only one week, searches for Bowsette reached over 3 million.
- Threesome porn saw an increase in 2018, as it became Pornhub’s 8th most popular category overall, and the second most popular category among women. Threesome porn saw an increase in countries such as France, Italy, Spain, Poland and the Netherlands.
Pornhub’s overall top 4 searches stayed the same, including Lesbian, Hentai, Milf and Step Mom. Cartoon porn dropped down 6 positions to make way for Anime porn which rose an astonishing 22 positions.

The most popular day to watch porn in 2017 was a Sunday, with Friday surprisingly being the least popular. The longest viewed category was Amateur, with the shortest viewed category being Red Head.
