As Twisted As Your Imagination
I like strange, odd, the quirky, the unusual. As you’ve probably guessed by now, I also love toys of all kinds, playing about and discovering new ideas, things that allow my imagination to wander; so when I saw the PicoBong I was certainly extremely intrigued – in fact, I went –

It took a minute for the pennies to drop… but as soon as they did – omg my imagination ran with it, how exciting… so many options, so much fun to be had, so versatile and – I hate to sound like your gran, but – *handy* – what a toy to play about with! I could not wait to get this home, admittedly firstly so I could see the look on Hubby’s face as he tried to work out what it was – bless him, he’s not very imaginative so bringing home toys and watching him work out and realise what something is for is sometimes nearly as fun as using the toy… I said nearly!

Anyway, just look at it! This is the PicoBong Transformer;

No, it’s not as small as you think it is, look again and realise the POWER – this is actually 25 – that’s TWENTY FIVE – inches – I said INCHES – long. No, it’s not a dinky thing by any measure! The features are top-notch; the quality amazingly good, the silicone lovely and smooth, the heads have a gentle curving to them – one head is embossed with the ‘PicoBong’ logo, the other side has the all-important controls and charging port, lift up the little flap to stick in the charging wire (LOL!) to charge up the toy, the instructions recommend you charge it for an hour.

Note on Lubes
You must only use water-based lubes with this toy, silicone WILL damage it, do not risk it, if unsure of what lube you have get a new one here, here and here are some good options – also never use any oils or lotions on this toy – you’ve been warned!

Controls
After charging the PicoBong for an hour, press the (+) button to start the vibrations, increase the speed by continuing to press (+), decrease speed by pressing (-), press (M) for the different vibration patterns, double click the (M) to go straight to the maximum power setting!
To turn the PicoBong off just old down (-) until it stops vibrating.
The PicoBong Transformer has a travel lock, to activate it press both (+) and (-) for 3 seconds, do the same to unlock.

The Neck
To be fair, I wasn’t expecting the neck to be as sturdy as it is, it’s bendy and pliable as fuck – it doesn’t just bend, it stays bent into whichever position you bend or sculpt it into. This is because the connecting ‘neck’ is a strong coil that will not sag nor droop with use. It’s ok though, the coil is not external; it’s all cased within soft, slinky silicone, so any skin or pubes are safe from being pinched or snagged! So yeah, it’s not going to flop about mid-play at all, there’s a good degree of resistance to it when you bend it about so you may accidently bend it out of sorts if you’re going quite ‘strenuously’ but it should stay put just fine otherwise.

As I’ve screamed about above, the whole length is 25 inches long, the circumference of the heads at the fattest point is 4 inches, and the neck is about 16.5 inches which gives a generous amount of leeway to create a great number of toys and sensations – this is obviously an excellent toy for sharing, so bendy, so roomy with enough length so you’re not squashed or hindered or cramped together at all.

This is a bold statement – not many toys can boast such anoffer, the PicoBong Transformer, however, is actually different to many toys out there, the very core of its design is that it can be made into practically anything you can think of. If you can’t think of anything then take a look at the listed options on the box which are a good start, you could alter the twists and turns to whatever and however you like, that’s the whole point.

For us, it seriously is a lot of fun, needless to say, in the interests of study we have attempted – I think – yes, probably all of the aforementioned designed on the box and have invented one or two of our twisted own LOL! I like how you have control over practically the whole design, there isn’t too much this vibe can’t do – granted, the coils may be a bit thick for some things, but with a bit of fiddling and messing about, you can come up with all sorts!

A while back, Jamesey wrote about the Precious Metals Smooth Anal Plug (read here) and gave it a good verdict, so it should end there right? Well no, ‘cos one day I just couldn’t resist it and decided to get me and hubby one from the range and now I love it so much I wanna share just how much love I think these plugs deserve, so today I’m offering my write-up of the Loving Joy Precious Metals Jewelled Butt Plug (a different style to that which Jamesey reviewed – they come in a few different designs! Keep reading & I’ll show you the full options at the end) – and in writing up my review of it I hope it gives any lady who’s a little worried about trying metal butt plugs the confidence to try one!

I’m actually in love with this cute Loving Joy Butt Plug, how could one not be? The range are beautifully made, they come in a bunch of different sizes with a wonderful weight to them, and, super-important to  me as I’ve been put off buying so many in the past just ‘cos of this – they have an excellently sparkly jewel; I tend to find some jewelled butt plugs don’t actually have a really nice-looking sparkle – some are blatantly plastic (yes, I know – the horror!), others dull – yes it’s a small gripe but if I want a toy that’s designed to be sparkly, I’m gonna be wanting to get the best looking, best sparkling option, right?! They also come in a cute little black velvet bag to keep it clean and safe from prying eyes, and to probably keep it extra sparkly… maybe.

I mean, it’s so snazzy I didn’t really make the connection that it was metal and that was a material that was completely alien to us thus far, I mean I knew it was metal obviously, but being sat here writing this I’m realising that this was the first metal toy we’ve ever had… apart from bondage pieces but none of them were insert-able – also, I can think of nothing we’ve used which comes close to the weight and coldness of this – the sensation is amazingly divine – soooo cold and so weighty it has a power of its own. Anyway, it turns out, Small was the right size for me and I used a LOT of lube. Back in December Jamesey bravely reviewed the E-Stim Systems ElectroPebble Dual Channel Power Box and had some awesome fun with it, to catch up with his hilarious post click >here<.

Sounds intriguing, no? Well, I reckon I’d try anything once (well… within reason haha) so I was happy to try this kit out and see what I made of it – and of course dear Hubby at home too

What’s In The Box?

The product description sleeve slips right off leaving a sleek-looking black box with E-Stim Systems on one side of it. Open up the box and inside you’ll find the box is padded so the unit is completely secure. Pull down the upper ‘bobbly’ padded side and you find some extra bits tucked away.

In the ElectroHelix Red Play Pack you get the following items; an Electro Helix PowerBox, a small Satin Electro Egg. Behind the padded side I mentioned just above are a User Manual, 4x Self-Adhesive Pads, a 2mm/TENS Cable, and a PP3 (square) Battery to power the toy straight from the box.

The Helix Power Box may look a little complicated at first but it’s simpler than it seems and even if you don’t get it right away you will be quick to learn the uses of the dials and buttons soon enough especially if you read the manual – it’s very straightforward once you know – read below for more info on powering up and using the Power Box. The Power Box is a good size to hold in your hand, and the dials are clearly labelled. There are 2 buttons on the box which have a bearing on the modes when powered up (more later).

Satin Egg – A metal satin-finish Egg which feels lovely enough in your hand without the electro waves pulsing through it! It’s a good size (for me), dinky and cute, and being metal it’s got a little bit of weight to it, I’m already a fan of this Egg so I cannot wait to see what it feels like when powered up! The Egg is attached to a wire which goes directly into the unit; this wire is reinforced at the top so that it can be safely used as a cord to retrieve the Egg when you pop it inside you. The wire is long enough so that it’s not like you have to angle about getting into the right position to use it and power it, or have your partner be sat right on top of you to power it – the wire is about a meter or so in length, so plenty to work with.

Pads & Wires – Using the wires provided with the kit, these pads can be attached to any part of your body – E-Stim recommends that you do not use any electroplay toy above waist height, though, so keep that in mind when playing.

Manual – Give it a good read over, seriously, it’s very informative, there’s even a complete diagram of the Box and breaks down all the components. It has an in-depth look at the Modes and features which will help you get the most out of your new toy so make sure to study up! As with many things ‘knowledge is power’!

First Impressions
Very nice! I love how everything fits nicely in the box, how neat it all is and how simple it is to start using. I’ve held electroplay toys in the shop but have never used one, so as this is my first unit I’m very excited to give it a go – the sensations are not going to be ones I’d have felt before so this should be lots of fun I’m actually very excited to see what this is like!

E-Stim Systems ElectroGel
I also have this conductive lube which can be used with any electroplay toy attachment. Don’t be shy to use generously on your attachments as the lube is designed to heighten the sensation of the tingles and electro waves. Think water + electric = buzzz! It’s water-based so it’s completely safe to use with toys made of all materials, not just your electroplay toys. It comes in bottles of 100ml and is available here!

Power Up!
Easy as pie – but first ensure that the Box’s Level is turned down to zero!!! – That done? Ok, you just pop the battery in, plug in the Egg, switch the Power Box on at the top, and (theoretically) away you go! Obviously, wash the Egg or any other attachments first – aaaand it might be wise to have a tinker about with it to work out what settings are right for you before jumping in – up to you! – but it’s really that quick to get going with it. No recharging – just make sure you have a spare battery, just in case!

So yeh, anyway, you’ve turned on the Box and now you’ll see that the Mode lights flash blue one by one, in 2 sequences – it rests on the default setting of ‘Pulse’ – now the unit is ready to send those electro pulses through to your attachment (or pads, of course!). You’ll notice another blue flashing light in the top left-hand corner of the Box – this light is a neat one and one you should keep your eye on – it’s showing the ‘pulsations’ of that Mode, as in the electricity or waves running from the Box and into any attachment you have plugged in.

Dials
Three dials, simple to remember as they are labeled;
Level – This is the most important one to remember, so if you have a crap memory just focus on this and you’ll be fine! This dial controls the power that comes from the Box – higher the dial is turned up the more of a ZZZZAAAAPPP you get, that’s the best way I can describe it so we’ll leave it as that But remember to start at ZERO and work your way SLOWLY up until you feel some pulses of tingles on your skin touching the attachment. Now doesn’t that feel amazing?! Don’t go nuts with it and hurt yourself, it’s for fun and pleasure, just set it right for you – everyone will have a different tolerance to the Box and even different body parts will have more sensitive reactions than other parts of your body – so keep it low as you get to know the toy and the settings you like.
Feel – This changes the ‘feel’ of the Mode which is selected. This applies to all Modes. Have a play about with it, you won’t hurt yourself by testing this one out as much as you like.
Speed – This will change the speed of most of the modes, just like you can change the speed of a vibrator you can change the speeds of the multiple Modes that this Power Box can produce. Just be aware, however, that this Dial doesn’t come into play for Flo and Fire Modes.

Mode Lights, Buttons, & Modes
Under the Dials you can see the blue light which is lit up on the current Mode – if you’ve not changed it, it’ll be set to its’ default ‘Pulse’, this Mode emits a continuous pulse to your attachment, fiddle with the Feel and Speed to obtain a variety of sensations.
Under the Mode Lights are two buttons, the right one has a circular arrow – press it – this changes the Mode – now the Box will be set to ‘Flo’, during this Mode the waves are constant – this is why you cannot change the Speed lol
Press that circular arrow button again and you get the ‘Fire’ mode which is super fun; during Fire Mode there are no waves emitting at all – until you press the Fire button! This is the target-like button on the left of the Box, when you press that button the Box sends a wave through to your chosen attachment or pads and obviously, the corresponding body part that it’s connected to!
Next up is ‘Milk’ – hard to explain but it’s kinda like how you imagine milking something to be like – shush! I’m trying! – It’s kinda slow but gets faster in like a continuous way, play with the Speed to make it go even faster and you’ll have an ace time!
Last up is ‘Tease’ – self-explanatory, this Mode is designed to tease you into a frenzy, again, mess about with the Feel and Speed Dials to heighten the sensations.

INTENSE
Ok, for those that like it even more tinglier or zappier there is another setting – it is called ‘Intense’ – to activate it hold down the Fire button until all the Mode Lights come on, now the Box will output an even higher sensation!

The E-Stim Systems Flo Electrode

Also within my goody bag were the Flo and a Low Profile Cable.
The Flo comes in a cool red, transparent, plastic tube which twists open, again the packaging of this allows you to store the toy and travel with it – the box will keep the toy safe and clean.
Inside the tube is a manual which gives a load of very useful information, be sure to read it! The Flo itself is a nice weighty metal probe with a red stripe in the middle. I got the Large size sent to me which is 4.7 inches high and has a nice chunky feel to it. The probe is powered with the Low Profile Cable – just plug both ends into the bottom of the probe and plug the other end into the Box and you will feel the electro tingles rippling all along the surface of the shiny, sleek metal.
The Low Profile Cable is designed so that the jack does not get in the way of play – if you look at the picture, you’ll see that the jack is at an angle – this is so that you can sit on the toy and not break or snap the cable.

So How Did I, & We, Get On?
This is so, so much fun to play about with, both, on your own, or with a partner. Naturally, there is a LOT more fun to be had when playing with someone so I found this to be such a giggle when playing with Hubby. He was quite dubious about it at first, playing about and shocking his own hands for the fun of it, when I reminded him we were to test it seriously he laughed, shrugged, and drawled a casual “we’ll give it a go, sure” – with a gleam of excitement in his eyes that he could not hide

At first we prepped the Egg and just got to know the Power Box, using the Egg in our hands to feel the electro pulses and modes. Pretty soon he was eager to get down to some investigating and went walkabouts down below taking the Egg with him… he wanted to know what it felt like on my clit so – well, I was happy enough to just lay there – and then he claimed he shocked his lip… wait.. what?! XD
Ok, so then we got the giggles for a good ten minutes… once we’d recovered (seriously though?!), we got back down to business, with a dollop of Conductive Gel smeared on the Egg he popped it into my vagina and might I say it feels much better than I’d have thought down there! It really tingles like fuck, rubbing against my G-spot the Egg quickly had me so close to cumming, I grabbed Hubby’s hand and he knew to rub my clit and boom I was done XD

Hubby was now convinced that this was an actual cool toy that really does deliver pleasure, he was then eager to try out more variations of play, he really liked the idea of dangling the Egg against my clit, he held it by the cord and let it rest gently against me – this was fucking fab and I would definitely recommend anyone try this, it tickled like crazy and the intensity was fierce! – In a good way, obviously! We tried out the Flo during dinner, sat at the dining table – I was literally trying to eat a wonderful dinner my Hubby had made for me… but I was sat on something fun and he had the Power Box on his side of the table…. I could barely eat my favourite dish! That was a mind-blowingly fabulous evening, and one which we wish to repeat again!

Final Thoughts
I enjoyed it, he definitely enjoyed it – I was completely bowled over by how is actually feels down there – it’s like quite a few toys that when you feel it on your hand it does not do justice to how it feels against the delicate skin of the pussy, bum, inner thighs…. etc.

The best thing about this toy is how versatile it is; you can mess about and have a laugh or be dominant and each and every time it’ll still be sexy, the Modes are a good hoot to try out together too – we tried out all the Modes available. I think the Fire Mode is probably our favourite, second would be the Tease Mode. Using the Feel and Speed Dials mix up the Modes quite a bit, you will definitely notice the Speed Mode being turned up, the Feel Mode, however, is more subtler.

That’s the beauty of this – you can tinker with those dials to make this Box do whatever kind of sensation you want! Soft sugary, tingly sensations or a maxed-up Fire jolt – whatever tickles your pickle! There are also many cool attachments available to accompany this Power Box, all ranging in styles from items to tease to those that may seem ‘extreme’, the attachments also range in sizes that usually come in Small, Medium, and Large. It’s completely turned around my thinking of electroplay, I didn’t think it’d be as much fun as it was, and I certainly did not think it was going to be as pleasurable as it was, Hubby was certainly dubious about the whole thing to start with too so we were extremely pleasantly surprised by the whole thing, plusnow we’re actually well excited that there’s a whole new world of electroplay pieces for us to try out – How quickly we were converted!

In Bloom
So today I’m writing this review is as I have the latest toy by WeVibe, the Bloom;

The Bloom is a set of vibrating vaginal balls which are designed for you to keep up with your Kegel exercises; the toy even progresses with you as it comes with two extra balls of differing heavier weights so that the set can be altered to increase the weight as you get stronger.
For those that don’t know, the point of Kegal balls, and especially their differing weights, is thus;once inserted, the jiggling of the balls causes your vaginal muscles to contract, the more smaller or weightier the balls you can hold inside your hoohaa, the tighter your muscles will have to grip to keep the set inside you; therefore, giving those vaginal muscles a damn good clenching and what do clenches make? – prizes… well no, butthis repetitive action of those Kegels while you’re wearing them will increase the muscle tone and keep that hoohaa tight as a drum… figuratively speaking, obvz.

Presentation

I really liked the idea of this toy, and was eager to give it a try out, I’ve not owned, nor used, a WeVibe product before, but I know WeVibe make awesome toys so I was hoping this would be a winner, it looked so clever – how could it not be? J
The Bloom comes in a thick, sturdy, cardboard box which has a picture of the product on the front, the design of the box fits well with the WeVibe theme of being fresh, cool, and modern.
One side of the box tells us what the toy is made of; body-safe silicone which is phthalate and BPA free, it’s also made without latex.

The other side of the box lists the boxes’ contents;

Finally, the back of the box gives a breakdown of information on what the product is designed to do and the various benefits of using the toy which I’ll just list right here;

Lift off the lid of the box and inside you’ll find the Bloom,with one head already on the base, and its two extra weighted heads lying on a cushion. Pull up the cushion and you’ll find all the other bits and pieces that are included all neatly tucked away beneath.

First Impressions
The Bloom itself is a lovely looking and feeling toy, they’ve used velvety, silky silicone to create this, feels gorgeous in the hands, there’s a WeVibe logo on the ‘belly’ of the Bloom, just under the power control button. It has a pull cord with a little silver bead at the end; the whole thing is super cute.

So, as mentioned above, the quirk with this set of Balls, which sets the Bloom apart from any other vibrating vaginal balls,is it vibrates, can be controlled via smartphone, and the top ball twists off completely so you can swap the ‘head ball’ with the other balls to increase Kegel workout productivity, the weights go up gradually, the first being 10g, the second being 30g, and the third having a nice weight to it at 45g.
Across it measures 33mm and the whole length is 179m, 90mm of that being the pull cord.

You get the one colour choice, it comes in coral only, and, luckily for me, I think it’s really pretty – different from the usual colours you see used so often.

After rifling through the box, I took the Bloom and its extra heads off for a good wash, I then looked at the heads and experimented swapping them about the base, and I noticed the port in which to charge up the mini beast so I decided to get it charged. Charging the Bloom up is easy, just twist off the head and plug in the USB cable, leave it on charge for 90 minutes for 90 minutes playtime.

While it was charging I played with the balls in my hands, the balls really do have a very different weight to them; I was impressed with how neat the whole thing was so far and was eager to try out my new little Bloom, I really hoped it would be ace because that real shallow part of me thought it was just too adorable not to be the best thing since sliced bread

Powering Bloom& WeVibe Connect
While I was waiting for the Bloom to charge up, I downloaded the WeVibe Connect app and familiarised myself with the layout and settings.
Once the Bloom was charged up and washed I was ready to power it up and see what it could do. I kept the lightest head on the base and pressed the button on the ‘belly’ of the Bloom, it immediately sprang to life, it has a wonderful rumbly vibration to it, as I was cycling through the vibrations I was really liked the shuddering feel of the toy; I had read the toy being described as “rumbling” by WeVibe and that description really does fit true to the Bloom’s vibrations.

To use the WeVibe Connect all you need to do is have your phone set to have Bluetooth turned on and then just connect to your app, your Bloom will shudder and blink its little belly light to tell you it’s connected to the app, and the app will then allow you to control the Bloom on the phone’s screen.
There is a list of ten modes to go through and try out, all of which can be altered to suit how gentle or wild you want the vibrations to be, you can also create your own vibration patterns so it’s literally up to you how your Bloom operates.

When you’ve connected your Bloom to your WeVibe you will then be able to connect a partner to the Bloom too – this is super easy, all they have to do is download the app and connect their app to your app and you’ll be ready to be controlled from anywhere in the world – as long as the toy is connected to the app – Go nuts!

Verdict – Blooming Marvellous!
As usual I wanted to go for the challenge first by using the heaviest ball and seeing what it felt like but I resisted temptation so I could try out ball number 1. With the help of a dollop of lube I popped in my Bloom and had a good play about with the vibes, obviously you can’t really control the vibes via the button on the Bloom itself once it’s inside you so you kinda need to keep your phone on you (not literally) to be able to switch up the vibes and patterns.

The only blip I found using this toy was keeping the Bloom connected to my phone; I have a tendency to go walkabouts and I kinda like doing stuff around the house while wearing vaginal balls but if I got too far away from my phone, say a room away or so, I’d find the bloom had disconnected when I went back to change up the vibes so then I’d have to reconnect it, bit of a faff but it was my own fault, just keep your phone near and you’ll be fine.

I was curious to try out the heaviest ball, ball number 3, and so I did, I found I actually like this ball the best and used this for the majority of the time I played with the Bloom. The weightiness made the Bloom feel full and the vibrations seemed more heightened.

The Bloom is super pleasurable and the smartphone connectivity with a partner is awesome fun. I don’t work Mondays, hubby does, I miss him a lot during the day but that day was a LOT of fun for us The laughs we had using the app and Bloom made the day fly by, and when he got home he was super horny – and, can I just say that this is a super cool toy, in that thinking outside the box and all – you also have a perfect little vibe to hold against your clit once you’ve slipped it out of your vagina and hubby’s gone in – Rrrrraw!

There’s no gripe I can think of and I would certainly recommend it to anyone with a hoohaa, especially those who love g-spot stimulation and absolutely perfect for couples who are apart and want to continue their teasing and lovemaking via smartphone.
All in, this is a lovely toy, the quality is supreme and the sensations it brings are super amazing, lots of fun – try one, try it solo or get someone to control the vibes – either way you’ll be smiling
